Shipping Coordinator

Our logistics department has a well matured and dynamic position opening for a new colleague to join our team as **Shipping Coordinator**. Your primary responsibility is to handle our day to day outbound shipment activities in coordination and close communication with internal stakeholders such as sales, warehouse personal and production associates. In addition you have the flexibility to communicate with customer queries or questions from external stakeholders such as 3PL freight forwarders, courier and road transportation organizations.

The purpose of the shipping coordinator is mainly (but not limited to); Prepare, monitor and ensure that all products which are produced by our production, are exported/shipped to our global customers. The work also includes to monitor and take ownership of shipment needs from remaining internal stakeholders. In addition the shipping coordinator will also maintain and monitor information in the ERP system; INFOR-SYTELINE.

The required shipping coordinator would preferably have basic experience in customs documentation such as but not limited to EXA, EUR1, Certificate of Origins, CMR’s, ATR’s and Letter Of Credits.

As shipping coordinator you should display excellent multitasking abilities. Familiar with the export and importation processes including basic knowledge of shipping

**In this role, a typical day will look like**:

- Arrange imports & exportation (create packing slips, invoices);
- Preparing and providing shipping quotes to internal stakeholders;
- Communicate with logistics suppliers and scheduling orders to ensure shipments are released as per agreed delivery schedule;
- Handle internal and external communication with logistics related questions from a variety of stakeholders;
- Maintaining accurate data in our ERP system or correct any defaults
- Prepare customs documents; Certificate of Origins, EUR1, ATR’s or willing to learn to prepare such documentation;
- Resolving any customer queries or handle complaints together with the logistics manager in a service oriented order.

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- Proven work experience as Shipping Coordinator or a similar role in the logistics department
- Good communication skills, preferable in Dutch and English
- Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office
