**About the Opportunity**
SSI EMEA is looking for a permanent, full-time Business Development Manager to join our SSI EMEA office. This position is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to work with a high-performing Sales team. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and winning sales opportunities within the shipbuilding sector in EMEA. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, ensuring that our products and services align with their needs. We’re seeking a proactive and results-driven individual who thrives on achieving targets and contributing to the success of our organization.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Work with SSI’s executive leadership to evolve and refine our growth strategies in response to changing market / geopolitical conditions
- Lead the execution of SSIs new sales structure and strategy
- **Direct B2B Sales**:prioritized by Target/Key Accounts
- **Indirect Sales**: Support regional Resellers
- Be the face and voice of SSI in the EMEA region, everywhere, all the time.
- Regional Strategies: Development and execution of a region-specific, territory sales plan that
- maximizes SSI’s competitive opportunities in target and key accounts,
- increases sales of new business with region
- Regular reports on customer needs, interests, competitive activities, and potential new products/services.
- Conduct thorough research to find potential clients within the shipbuilding industry.
- Reach out to leads through cold calls, networking events, and referrals.
- Customize SSI’s standard sales presentations to address specific client needs and pain points.
- Work with SSI’s other Master Resellers to identify international project opportunities and foster collaboration within SSI’s global sales channels.
- Perform cost-benefit analyses and needs assessments for existing and potential customers.
- Provide complete and appropriate solutions to boost customer satisfaction. At SSI one of our major goals is "Keeping Clients for Life"
- Expedite the resolution of customer issues to maximize overall satisfaction
**Qualifications/Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related fields.
- Experience in software sales and business development for manufacturing and/or shipbuilding
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the shipbuilding industry.
- Driven, self-motivated, and passionate about pursuing and winning sales opportunities.
- Fluency in English
- The ability and interest in travel throughout EMEA
**Asset Experience**:
- Fluency in other languages
- Previous experience selling shipbuilding software
- Professional experience in shipbuilding or manufacturing
- Experience with the SSI product line and other CAD systems
