As a Junior/Medior Freight Forwarder you help ensure that goods are transported safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. You work with companies, importers, and exporters and support the logistics for transporting goods from A to B. You work independently and as part of a team, receiving guidance from senior colleagues to stimulate and support your professional development.

**This is how you tackle your day. You**:

- handle interactions with existing and new customers, qualify, monitor, and delegate orders for execution;
- collaborate with internal teams to manage customer portfolios and implement improvements;
- support the onboarding process for new customers in collaboration with Key Account Managers and operations;
- contribute to customer satisfaction by providing proactive advice and support;
- monitor internal data and customer KPIs, offering solutions for continuous improvement;
- ensure all transport activities comply with laws and regulations (Compliance Management);
- assist in identifying and mitigating potential risks in the supply chain (Risk Management);
- ensure administrative processes run efficiently and controlled, contributing to overall success;
- build and maintain customer relationships to foster beneficial partnerships for both WCSG and customer growth;
- manage costs by understanding cost structures and negotiating favorable rates and terms.

**Profile**:

- Available 32/40 hours per week;
- Good organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize;
- Customer-oriented and problem-solving;
- Basic knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance;
- Confident and able to stand your ground when needed;
- Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adept at quick adaptation;
- MBO starter or a few years of experience, preferably in transport and logistics;
- Excellent command of Dutch and English.
