The Public Policy team at Netflix proactively manages the company's relationship with policy makers and advises the company on regulatory matters. The team engages with governments and key stakeholders on a variety of issues and initiatives that materially impact our business and our members, with the goal of setting Netflix up for success and growth around the world.

We are looking for a talented EU Audiovisual (AV) Compliance Coordinator to join our EMEA Public Policy team and support compliance and regulatory matters connected to the Audiovisual Media Services Directive (AVMSD) such as reporting on compliance with national financial obligations. The position is based in Amsterdam and reports to the Senior Director of EU Public Policy.

**About the job**:

- Preparing AVMSD compliance submissions by sourcing input from all relevant teams across the legal, content, and finance departments.
- Overseeing the calendar of all AVMSD compliance deadlines and tasks with a view to ensuring timely completion.
- Effective understanding of legal documents to ensure accurate reporting.
- Identifying and proactively bringing up issues and business developments impacting compliance with existing obligations to the relevant teams.
- Organizing, logging, and maintaining accurate data regarding AVMSD compliance submissions.
- Providing broader research, analysis, and drafting support to the EMEA Public Policy team where needed.

**Requirements**:

- Hold at least a Bachelor or preferably a Master degree in Law, Business, or a related field.
- Have 3+ years experience and a demonstrated track record in the field of regulatory compliance, law, business consulting.
- Work experience in the space of media regulation or data analytics are positively valued.
- High level of organization, detail orientation, ability to time-manage across multiple deadlines and a mindset that processes can always be improved; strong critical thinking and operational skills.
- Team-player who thrives in a fast paced, team-oriented setting
- Flexibility and willingness to provide support on a broad range of regulatory matters, including outside the area of expertise.
- Tech-savvy individual, quick to adapt to new or changing systems, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Suite.
- Understand, advocate, and embody the Netflix culture and team goals.
