As we continue to grow rapidly throughout Europe, we need a Group Controller with sharp skills and a strategic mindset to lead our financial excellence. You will be the right hand of our CFO and will help us navigate new opportunities throughout Europe and keep our financials as clean as the breeze that powers our turbines

**Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It**:
We are looking for an ambitious solid mid-career professional to bring more seniority and experience to the table. As Group controller you will be responsible for overseeing our international financial reporting to ensure our internal and external reporting are reliable and provide the required insight to senior management.

We have optimized our finance operations throughout Europe by investing in systems and people, and now it’s your task to ensure the processes are running as smooth as possible. It’s essential to have a team member with eagerness to understand our business, who will work closely together with operational colleagues in optimizing our margins and making the right business decisions. It’s a broad role with a true balance between business and financial controlling.

You’ll make sure we have the insights we need to scale and innovate, and we will make sure you have the tools to deliver.

**Here's how you'll make an impact**:

- Financial Strategy & Planning: You will lead our budgeting and forecasting cycle, providing clarity on key financial drivers to enable informed decision-making. You will closely work with all business owners to make our budget work.
- Financial Reporting: We have solid financial operations in all our countries, no worries. Your task is to consolidate the local reports into consolidated management reporting for our senior management team as well as our UK Listed parent company. Numbers tell a story, and you’ll be our best storyteller
- Compliance: You will prepare the IFRS group financial statements and work together with our auditors to ensure we meet our reporting deadlines. You coordinate with our local third parties to ensure we meet local reporting requirements and tax compliance.
- Cost Control & Analysis: Keep a close eye on margins and expenses, identifying areas for cost-saving opportunities while maintaining our commitment to quality and sustainability.
- Cash Flow Management: Ensure optimal cash flow, managing working capital to support our growing operations. You’ll keep us balanced and ready for the next wind of opportunity
- Strategic Insights & Advisory: Work closely with senior management, offering financial analysis and recommendations to guide business decisions including support on M&A. Your insights will help us scale efficiently and effectively.

**Your Toolkit**:
To excel in this role, you'll bring the following to the table:

- An **understanding of accounting principles (IFRS) and a group consolidation process** is essential.
- We can learn you the sector and our business, no worries, but some **experience in an international company **is needed
- We expect an eagerness to use technology from all our employees — we use state of the art accounting and reporting software solutions and prefer investing in systems rather than creating onerous tasks for employees. Can you help us?
- You need to be **fluent in English**, as this is the main language throughout our organization. A second European language is beneficial (Dutch, French, Italian, Greek)

Important Details:

- This role is for a minimum of 32 hours a week, some flexibility is required on reporting deadlines.
- The role involves irregular travel to overseas teams
- You must be able to work in the Amersfoort office at least 3 days a week—remote work is cool, but sometimes we need actual face-time (no, not the app).
- We’re unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.
