**We’re looking for a Commercial Trader to join our team in Poeldijk, Netherlands.**

As a Commercial Trader, you will play a vital role in driving our commercial growth by buying and selling a diverse range of fruits and vegetables within the Dutch and European markets. You will utilise your expertise to source products strategically, develop strong customer relationships, and analyse market trends to optimise profitability.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Trading: Buy and sell fruits and vegetables, monitor market trends, develop trading strategies, manage inventory, and resolve supply chain issues.
- Procurement and Supply Chain: Identify new suppliers, negotiate prices, and ensure product availability.
- Sales and Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities, expand the customer base, and explore value-added products.
- Market Analysis and Pricing: Analyse market trends, develop pricing strategies, and monitor pricing agreements.
- Customer Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers, understand customer needs, and provide excellent customer service.
- Operational Excellence: Provide regular reports, analyse data, and adhere to health and safety regulations.

**Requirements**:
**Essential**
- Proven experience in buying and selling fresh produce, ideally vegetables.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English.

**Desirable**
- Experience in the Dutch or European vegetable market.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in relevant IT systems and software.
- Fluency in Dutch.
