About the role

As a Junior Brand Copywriter, you’ll be an integral part of our Brand Creative Team within the Marketing Department. Working alongside experienced Copywriters, Designers, and Producers, you’ll contribute to various creative projects from conception to development.

Collaboration is a cornerstone of our work environment, and you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with teams across Marketing, Communications, and Localization. Additionally, you’ll work closely with our UX Copywriter to maintain consistency in our brand voice across Marketing and Product platforms. As a Junior Brand Copywriter, you’ll report directly to our Creative Director, receiving mentorship and guidance as you grow in your role.

What you’ll bring
- A passion for special objects and their stories
- 1-3 years’ experience in professional copywriting
- A bachelor's degree in social sciences, literature, communication, marketing or a related discipline (preferred but not mandatory)
- Native-level English, outstanding grammar and writing skills
- A creative mindset with the ability to think conceptually and translate ideas into compelling copy.
- A portfolio that showcases a range of work
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Pluses
- An editorial background
- Experience in a marketplace or tech environment
- Experience in both B2B and B2C communication
- Knowledge of additional European language(s)
- International work experience
- Affinity with one or more Catawiki categories

Our offices and way of working

We have sensational offices in Amsterdam, Groningen, Paris and our newest office in Lisbon. Most of our employees are within commutable distance of one of our office locations and enjoy a hybrid work model. This means we expect you to be in the office 2 out of 5 days, roughly 40% of your working time, to collaborate and connect with each other. The exception is of course, if the job description specifically states that the role is 100% remote, as some experts and sales positions are.
