**Data **Analytics Manager**

**Purpose of the job**
- You are responsible for improvements in decision-making and process efficiency through creating and executing the business intelligence / data and analytics strategy.**Main responsibilities**
- You gather insight in the current level of awareness, availability and usage of data and you understand the business needs. You are aware of the possibilities of data analytics and tools, and combine these insights into a shared vison, strategy and approach for OCA. You analyse concrete possibilities and translate these into data development initiatives.
- You evaluate options, together with ICT, to establish an infrastructure which will enable the efficient and effective usage of data on the short and long term.
- You ensure the quality of technical documentation of data products.
- You provide performance information about OCA processes and strategies to management.
- You contribute to initiatives to implement the data strategy and improve data literacy.
- You ensure the consistency of data and analytics training Programmes.
- You coordinate and organize the work of the R&A team.

**Specific tasks**
- Contribute to the Business Intelligence (BI) strategy, elaborated into plans and agreed roadmap with the Data Analytics Leader.
- Insight in and improvements to (the usability and availability of) existing data sets and sources, by advising and supporting departments.
- Data governance and documentation, clarity on ownership and structure, to improve quality of data, including KPI’s.
- Results from BI Initiatives, prioritised, coordinated and executed across OCA.
- Awareness in the organisation regarding the possible use and benefits of data for decision making and process optimalisation.
- Optimal usage of and availability of functionality from BI tools, by advising and supporting users and realising solutions to bugs/problems.
- Alignment of the organisational reporting structure between MT, departments and units.
- Daily organization of tasks of the R&A team.

**We are looking for**
- A BSc/ MSc in your area of expertise
- 3+ years of experience in data management
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft environment
- You are a critical thinker
- Good communication skills are essential, and an excellent command of English is a necessity.

**We offer**
- This position is offered on a one-year contractual basis, with the potential for renewal contingent upon satisfactory job performance.- A gross monthly salary with a current range between 4,665- and 6,422-euro pro-rata. The exact salary will depend on relevant work experience and the percentage of working hours.- Other benefits include:
- 30 paid vacation days annually
- A premium free pension where MSF covers 100% of the monthly pension contribution
- 8% holiday allowance, paid out with the salary once a year in May
