Treasury Manager

Key Responsibilities
- ** Cash Management**: Oversee daily cash management activities, including cash positioning, forecasting, and reporting. Ensure adequate liquidity to meet operational needs.
- ** Investment Strategy**: Develop and implement investment strategies for surplus cash, balancing risk and return in alignment with corporate policies.
- ** Debt Management**: Manage the organization’s debt portfolio, including negotiating terms with lenders, monitoring covenants, and ensuring compliance with debt agreements.
- ** Risk Management**: Identify and mitigate financial risks related to currency fluctuations, interest rates, and credit exposures. Implement hedging strategies as necessary.
- ** Financial Reporting**: Prepare and present treasury reports to senior management, providing insights into cash flow trends, liquidity positions, and investment performance.
- ** Policy Development**: Establish and enforce treasury policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- ** Team Leadership**: Lead and mentor a team of treasury professionals, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (CTP, CFA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury management or related financial roles within the retail sector or similar industries.
- Strong understanding of cash management techniques, financial instruments, and risk management strategies.
- Proficient in treasury management systems and financial modelling tools
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Dutch & English proficiency is a must; German is a plus.
- A proactive and solutions-driven mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement
