The Customer Communication Expert Beverage, Sports Nutrition and Colors is responsible for all customer marketing and communication activities targeted at beverage customers globally. He/she will promote the dsm-firmenich solutions and capabilities, including communication campaigns for industry exhibitions, digital campaigns and product launches with the ultimate goal to grow the business. He/She will be part of a larger global customer marketing team and works closely with the business management, the regional sales teams and strategic marketing. The Customer Communication Expert Beverages, Sports Nutrition and Colors reports to the head of Customer Marketing.

**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- Will focus on B2B marketing, but for the sport nutrition segment B2C marketing is relevant.
- Works closely with the business managers, innovation manager and regional sales teams all over the world to develop and execute a global customer marketing and communication plan in line with business and sales objectives. The plan should include elements such as a clear overall positioning, marketing campaigns, product launches and consumer insights.
- Is closely involved in the development of value propositions building on relevant customer insights.
- Secures the implementation of marketing and communication campaigns and monitors progress, evaluates effectiveness, and adjusts accordingly.
- Works closely with regional marketing managers for local execution.
- Displays in-depth understanding of marketing communication: Assesses current and future market developments and communication competitor developments and consumer behavior and translates this into useful and pragmatic sales tools.
- Works closely with regional marketing managers for local execution and other communication experts as well as regional marketing managers within dsm-firmenich to exchange developments and best practices.

**You Bring**
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or marketing with a strong commercial acumen.
- Will impact and drive the marketing strategy for our products and services. Understands the unique needs of our customer base and develops targeted marketing campaigns to effectively communicate the value of our offerings.
- Strong background in pragmatic B2B marketing, with a keen understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the food industry. Additional B2C experience is a plus.
- Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms and eager to lead the segment to more digital. Experience in the beverages industry is a plus._ _
- At least 10 years of work experience within business-to-business marketing / communication, preferably in the food industry. Ability to translate business objectives to communication objectives and work on integrated communication campaigns. Results-driven and hands-on strategic thinker, pragmatic mentality, stakeholder management skills and digitally savvy
- Understands the needs of the different functions (business management, sales, strategic marketing), can work effectively in complex, international environments and matrix organizations, also (partly) virtually.
- Near-native English language skills - both written and verbal.
