It is essential that ASML's production facilities and assets are maintained at a consistently high level to secure our operational continuity. The TWINSCAN Factory is responsible for the production and installation of TWINSCAN systems. The complete production process of the some of the most advanced machines takes place within this sector.

**Role and responsibilities**:
As the Business Continuity and Risk Manager you manage the portfolio of reliability and availability risks within TWINSCAN Factory (TF) with the goal to contain and mitigate these when necessary. You propose and/or evaluate mitigations activities, oversee the execution and monitor the effectiveness.

Furthermore you will develop and implement strategies which safeguard the production process continuity. You contribute to the development of relevant strategies, standards and policies.

Additionally, you will be the single point of contact in TF for the coordination of both physical and IT security related initiatives.

You will be part of the Quality Team, which is comprised of Quality Experts. You can expect to work closely with the operational leadership teams, Corporate Real Estate, Global Risk & Business Assurance Team, Process Improvement Teams, Means & Methods, Corporate Security, and EHS.

You will report to the Operational Excellence Quality Manager.

**Your tasks**:

- Based on corporate policies, deploy the strategies, standards and tooling for Business Continuity & Risk Management for TF.
- Manage the risk management process, coordinate risk assessments, define mitigation plans and define business continuity plans. Propose risk mitigation activities and business continuity improvements.
- Own and maintain the TF risk matrix that is derived from the general ASML risk matrix.
- Set-up, own, and maintain the risk management processes.
- Work with production engineers and SMEs to identify risks and define necessary actions.
- Adopt risk and compliance policies.
- Generate, maintain and communicate the business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Facilitate annual Business Continuity Assessment with TF Leadership team.
- Validate and/or conduct reviews of major infrastructure, asset or tooling changes.
- Coordination and deployment of Physical
- and IT Security related initiatives

**Education and experience**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline, e.g. process engineering, industrial engineering, or security management.
- 7+ years of relevant working experience in an engineering, maintenance, asset or risk management function.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strongly results-orientated with a corresponding sense of responsibility; directs work and ensures accountability.
- Ability to influence others, even if they are not in your direct team
- Social skills; emphatic, listening, enthusing, creating room for innovation/creativity, coaching & collaborating.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, dealing with senior and middle management levels, peers and teams..
- Strongly results-orientated with a corresponding sense of responsibility; directs work and ensures accountability.
- Strong sense of business acumen, specifically in understanding the overall business context.
- Excellent decision making skills in fast-changing and complex environments, and capable of dealing with uncertainties.
- Planning, scheduling, and execution skills.
- Strong general understanding of IT.
- Fluent in spoken and written business English.
