We are looking for a driven junior Journalist for the editorial team of Bike Europe - the leading trade journal for the international e-bike and bicycle industry. Bike Europe is the leading trade journal for the international e-bike and bicycle industry bringing various markets in and outside Europe into perspective. A global network of correspondents provides unique insights in the different two-wheeler markets. With detailed analysis of the markets, we provide professionals the tools to find their way through the maze of trade barriers in a global industry, getting answers about rules and regulations, and understanding all the complexities of this cross-cultural, multi-lingual industry. Bike Europe covers the market with up-to-the-minute breaking news, in-depth reports, product information, and complete coverage of major industry events, both online and in print.

**Challenges as a junior Journalist**
- Source, conceptualise, create and craft compelling relevant business content for our readers in English.
- Turn often complex corporate messages, as well as submissions of non-native English correspondents, into must-see and must-read content that is delivered across a mix of disciplines, including digital, print and video.
- Work closely with two immediate colleagues and show a high degree of responsibility and commitment.
- Contribute on a daily basis to Bike Europe publications on all levels. Attend industry events, track the electric bike and bicycle industry and interview sources from a variety of perspectives.

**What are you bringing with you?**
- Native level English and Dutch. The articles for example are in English, but the working language within the team and VMN media is Dutch.
- A couple of years of (online) editorial experience
- Affinity/interest in financial and business journalism
- Living in Netherlands (preferable)
- Willing to travel
- Eagerness to learn and develop

**Bike Europe Team**

You will be reporting to the Editor in chief. Bike Europe has two editorial staff who work closely together with several internal departments, including sales colleagues.
