**Job Title**: Internship - Tour Guide at 5 Beursplein

**Location**: Beursplein 5, Amsterdam, Netherlands

**Duration**: 3-6 months (part-time/full-time)

**About the Role**: Beursplein 5 is one of Amsterdam’s most iconic buildings, home to the historic Amsterdam Stock Exchange. We are seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing **Tour Guide Intern** to bring the history of this renowned building and its significance to life for visitors. This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills in public speaking, historical research, and tourism, while engaging with a diverse audience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead guided tours of Beursplein 5, educating visitors on the building’s architecture, history, and its role in the global financial markets.
- Research and prepare informative and engaging tour scripts, focusing on the evolution of the stock exchange, historical events, and modern-day operations.
- Provide an exceptional guest experience, answering questions and adapting tours to meet the interests of diverse groups.
- Assist in organizing special events, workshops, and exhibitions related to the building’s history and significance.
- Collaborate with the marketing and events team to promote tours and special programs.
- Gather feedback from tour participants to continuously improve the experience.
- Ensure safety and adherence to building regulations during tours.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in History, Tourism, Economics, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in history, architecture, and the financial markets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Dutch and English.
- Friendly, approachable personality with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and entertain diverse groups of visitors.
- Self-motivated with a passion for learning and sharing knowledge.
