**Are you up for the challenge?**

As our new **Experience Designer** specializing in location-based experiences, you’ll be co-creating physical spaces and turn them into immersive environments that captivate, inspire, and strengthen brands. Whether it’s a brand experience, leisure attraction, retail store or the occasional museum exhibit, your goal will be to create spaces that engage every sense, spark curiosity, and leave lasting impressions. Every project will challenge you to think about how people interact with space, light, sound, and visuals—and how to push those elements to create something truly memorable.

**Here's what you'll do**:

- **Conceptualize location-based experiences**

Location-based experiences blend various disciplines, from spatial and graphic design to interaction, show design, video, audio, lighting, SFX, and storytelling. We’re looking for a creative mind who thinks holistically and has a foundational understanding of all these elements, ready to bring them together in innovative ways.
- **Design in one or more discipline(s)**

As projects move from concept to reality, you’ll dive deeper into one or more areas depending on your experience—whether it's spatial, graphic, interaction, or show design—to refine and prepare the experience design for execution.
- **Visualize your and team ideas**

To communicate ideas effectively, you’ll create sketches and visualizations that make concepts clear for both internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring everyone shares the same vision.
- **Stay ahead of trends**

Be the go-to person for the latest trends in experience design in brand experience, leisure, and retail. You’ll bring in ideas that keep us on the cutting edge.
- **Collaborate across disciplines**

Work hand-in-hand with the creative director and interaction, spatial, and show design colleagues to ensure seamless storytelling across every touchpoint

**We expect you to be**:

- Passionate about brand experiences, leisure, and retail
- Have a holistic mindset but specialized in one or more design disciplines whether it's spatial, graphic, interaction, or show design
- Ambitious to work internationally for big brands and attractions
- A highly creative mind, able to convince and enthuse colleagues and clients
- A team player, sparring partner, and self-starter
- Proficiency in English (Dutch proficiency is a plus)
- Educational degree in design,from institutions such as Industrial Design, Architecture, Design Academy or Art School
- Experienced in working for agencies (minimum of 4 years)
- Highly skilled in creative software, such as Adobe Suite, SketchUp etc.
- Mac and Keynote native
- Forward thinking and willingness to learn from others
- Strong social and communication skills
