**Scope of the Position**:
This role involves managing new product development projects, from lab sample preparation to large-scale production oversight. Effective collaboration with key business departments (Account Management, Quality, Operations, Finance, Regulatory, Procurement, and Supply Chain) is essential.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Food Science or relevant manufacturing experience.
- Laboratory and food production experience, with knowledge of ice cream and pastry products.
- Familiarity with functional ingredients (e.g., fats, emulsifiers).
- English and Dutch proficient.

**Additional requirements**:

- Strong organizational skills to maintain an efficient laboratory environment and manage sample preparation.
- Excellent written communication skills for record-keeping, SOPs, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team across multiple locations in Europe and the UK, primarily through virtual platforms.

**Nice to have**:

- Experience in hard candy production and caramelization.
- Knowledge of quality control in industrial production and new product development.
- Project management experience.
