Your job:
As an Electrical Installation Supervisor at Royal IHC, you play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and proper functioning of electrical installations on ships and other maritime projects. You advise clients on low
- and high-voltage installations and conduct audits in accordance with NEN 1010, NEN 3140, and/or NEN 3840 standards. You oversee inspections, maintenance activities, and prepare safety reports. Additionally, you provide safety instructions and independently plan your activities, operating both on the work floor and at the management level. You report to the Manager of Service & Commissioning.
Your responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with various departments within Royal IHC to ensure the safety and quality of installations.
- Developing and implementing electrical safety policies in line with NEN 1010, NEN 3140, and/or NEN 3840 standards.
- Preparing work plans and switch authorizations.
- Identifying potential hazards and risks in electrical installations and developing measures to minimize them.
- Providing safety instructions and training to employees.
- Ensuring regular maintenance of electrical installations to prevent malfunctions and accidents.
- Reporting findings and recommendations to management.
Your profile:
To qualify for the role of Electrical Installation Supervisor, you should have:
- A minimum of a vocational (MBO-4) diploma in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
- Certifications in NEN 3140/3840.
- A valid VCA certificate.
- Relevant work experience in a similar role, preferably in shipbuilding or a comparable industry.
- Excellent communication skills in English, and preferably Dutch, both written and spoken.
- A high level of independence and a strong sense of responsibility.
- The ability to quickly identify and resolve technical problems.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel.We offer:
- A gross monthly salary between €4,122 and €6,280 plus 8% holiday allowance.
