In this role, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders, providing expert advice and guidance on various people-related challenges while maintaining a pragmatic approach to effective management. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of HR functions, including employee relations, workforce planning, talent management, and change projects.

This is a full-time position (38hrs), working at our facility in Horst, Limburg.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supporting key stakeholders in providing advice and guidance regarding people challenges within their teams and taking a pragmatic approach to the management of these.
- Responsibility for all employee relations case load and ensuring proactive support and management of this
- Managing the sites absence, including high absence levels and long term ill health capability cases.
- Work with the HR Director and leadership teams, collating and analysing workforce planning data to establish trends and propose resolutions to workforce planning issues.
- Build and maintain confidential relationships with key stakeholders and managers to assist them to develop plans, undertake workforce planning and partner the leadership team in their regular operational meetings
- Support managers to effectively use the dashboard data, providing local extracts as required, identifying key trends and concerns to promptly resolve issues and negative trends and to support the needs of Inotiv.
- Identify performance and development needs provide the relevant targeted support/ coaching or other L&D interventions to improve this.
- Provide local leadership/management of the HR element in change projects, with support of HR Director as required.
- Provide HR support, focusing on engagement and coaching in line with, Human Resources Policies and Procedures, best practice and Inotivs organisation strategy.
- Proactively support the local operations team to have active talent management plans including succession planning and maximising development opportunities in conjunction with the Director, HR EMEA and global L&D team.
- Any other HR activities as required by Inotiv

Qualifications:

- Proficient with advanced skills using of Microsoft Excel
- You should have a degree in human resources or a relevant area, with up to four years of subsequent relevant experience. Alternatively, relevant experience equivalent.
- You have demonstrable experience delivering operational HR activities in the Netherlands, including employment contracts, employee policies and handbooks, and sourcing insurances and benefit in partnership with Site and Functional leadership teams.
- Be a problem solver: You are the primary source for many workplace issues. You should be able to think quickly, troubleshoot problems and offer effective solutions, while working Inotiv’s operational and budgeting guidelines.
- Be Progressive: You should be forward-thinking and open to innovative ideas. Being progressive means that you are flexible, able to adjust policies and strategies as the industry or Inotiv changes. You are willing to study HR practices and lead discussions about changes in the workplace. Thinking about the future also involves making contingency plans for the unexpected situations.
- Understand business needs from multiple points of view and provides suggestions to address current issues while also maintaining a long-term solution.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to relate complex concepts in a concise and easy to understand manner.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects, often under tight time constraints.
- Effectively work with peers, leadership, and stakeholders in a productive collaborative environment.
- Ability to understand and comply with confidentiality and privacy rules and protect company property and confidential information.
