**About the organization**:
CHDR is an independent institute specializing in innovative, early-stage clinical drug research. We are located in Leiden, the Netherlands, and collaborate closely with Leiden University and the clinical departments of the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC). **What does the job look like?**:
If you join our team as a statistical programmer you will be responsible for generating data review and interim reports, creating statistical outputs (tables, figures and listings) for pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic endpoints. Dependent on your level of experience, you will also be involved in developing standardised SAS code. You will be supported and expected to develop into a clinical study statistician.
As a statistician at CHDR, you will perform statistical analysis and generate statistical outputs using SAS. You will work in collaboration with statistics team, other analytical colleagues and clinical scientist. Other responsibilities will involve advising on study design, power calculations, treatment randomisation, review of protocols, statistical analysis plans and clinical study reports.
**Required skills**:
For the position of a statistical programmer/statistician we are looking for someone with the following characteristics:
- Master’s degree or higher in the field of Statistics, biostatistics, bioinformatics, mathematics, life sciences or other relevant areas;
- Experience as statistical programmer or statistician, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, academia or other clinical setting;
- Proficiency in SAS is preferred, however knowledge of other statistical programming languages will also be considered;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Ability to work on multiple projects at a time, continuously deliver to tight deadlines while keeping track of priorities;
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
- Strong command of English language (written and verbal).
