**What are you going to do?**
As an Assistant Business Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the Business Controller with essential financial activities. Your responsibilities will include overseeing stock control, conducting cost analysis, and assisting with financial reporting across multiple production sites. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy in financial processes and reporting, while actively contributing to financial planning and analysis. Additionally, you will be instrumental in driving improvements in business intelligence tools and supporting continuous process enhancements.
You will be responsible for:
- Manage financial stock control, including standard costing, actual cost analysis, and monthly material cost analytics.
- Conduct and analyze weekly/monthly stock updates, Work in Progress (WIP), and quarterly/annual stock counts.
- Assist with financial planning and analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for the German production site.
- Prepare monthly KPI reporting and provide financial business partnering to improve performance and strategic support.
- Drive continuous improvement of BI tools and systems, including creating dashboards and performing ad-hoc analytics.
**Requirements**:

- Bachelor level in education in a matching field.
- High IT affinity - Experience with Power Query and Power pivot is required. Previous systems implementation experience preferred.
- Experience with Oracle, Netsuite, IBM Controller and TM1 is highly desirable.
- Highly analytical with an ability to use business intelligence in order to generate impactful insight.
- Curious to learn with strong initiative and drive to problem solving.
- You are an excellent communicator - skilled in translating financial and complex analysis in a simple and effective manner, to a non-technical audience at different levels.
- Calm under pressure and thriving in a fast moving constantly changing environment.
- Excellent English language skills, Dutch is a plus,
Since you will be working in our site in Tilburg, NL, If you are not Dutch, a valid work permit/ VISA is required for the interview process. Relocation is not offered for this position.
