**Who are we looking for?**
As a Design Coordinator at Mexx, you will be responsible for coordinating the design process and managing design systems. You play a crucial role in streamlining planning and ensuring efficient execution of the design process. This position requires a combination of organizational skills, design knowledge, and a sharp eye for detail. **Responsibilities**
- Coordinating the design process by collaborating with the design and product development team to plan and execute design projects;
- Ensuring smooth flow of information between different departments to meet deadlines;
- You will work closely with the design and product development team, ensuring smooth flow of information and timely project delivery;
- Monitoring the progress of design projects and identifying any bottlenecks;
- Maintaining and updating design systems and software tools to maximize efficiency;
- Ensuring compliance with guidelines and standards for design processes;
- Creating and maintaining design schedules and Milestone calendars;
- Coordinating meetings and presentations for the design team;
- Effectively communicating with internal teams and external suppliers;
- Supporting the product & development team including buying with lineplan creation, sample tracking and costings;
- Arranging and set up design, marketing and sales related meetings, like collection presentations, photoshoots and planning of those days;
- Supporting the designteam in creating colorcards, collection overviews, fabric research and data entery of those in the systems.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Design or Product Development roll or as a office coordinator with a big passion for fashion;
- Strong Knowledge of the Adobe design software and Microsoft office.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills;
- Attention to detail and a passion for design;
- Familiarity with PLM (or similar) programs is a plus;
- Full-time availability;
- Ability to work well both collaboratively and independently;
- Hands-on mentality;
- You have an excellent command of the English language, both verbally and in writing; Dutch is a huge plus;
- Living in the Netherlands or in the near direction of the Drunen head office;
- Is able to work in a dynamic environment, work independently, and has a hands-on mentality;
- Flexible, accurate, structured, responsible, can work well under pressure, and shows initiative.
