Tilburg Law School is hiring a lecturer who has an interest in Global Law, International Law and European Law.

- A lecturer must have an LLM degree (or equivalent qualification) and must demonstrate the potential to be an outstanding teacher.
- You have demonstrated excellence in teaching, as evidenced by course evaluations.

- You demonstrate personal leadership: you take responsibility for your work and career and possess a good level of self-knowledge.
- Your work ethic is driven by quality, flexibility, and a strong belief in team-play.
- You provide flexible and very reliable support to course instructors, based on anticipated needs and instructions. This includes grading and assessment work.
- You are responsive and adaptive to the needs of your colleagues and/or tasks assigned.
- You possess creative savvy with ideas on how to better deliver e-learning in our Global Law Bachelors (e.g. live video, virtual classrooms, mobile apps experience).
- You are committed to integrating in the social culture and norms of the department.
- Lecturers in this position are, in any case, supported in their lecturing by participating in training courses.

To maintain a vibrant and active university community, it is important that we meet each other regularly and that the connection between us remains good. Therefore, the premise is that all staff members carry out their work in the Netherlands and that lecturing is done physically.

For this position, we offer:

- A position based on 0.8 - 1.0 FTE (32-40 hours per week);
- This is a vacancy for a temporary position in accordance with Article 2.3 paragraph 5 of the CLA for Dutch universities. You will be given a temporary employment contract for the duration of 5 years. A salary of minimum €3,226 and maximum €5,019 gross per month for full time employment, based on UFO profile Lecturer 4 and salary scale 10 of the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities. Tilburg University uses a neutral remuneration system for salary scaling that is based on relevant education and work experience;
- Vacation allowance (8%) and a year-end bonus (8.3%);
- Vacation days (41 days for a 40-hour work week);
- Full reimbursement of commuting expenses for sustainable travel: walking, biking and public transportation;
- Moving allowance;
- Options Model for benefits and reimbursement of moving expenses;
- You will be enrolled in the General Pension Fund for Public Employers (ABP) through us;
