**Your profile**
- Have a PhD in Law (or have their manuscript approved and a defense date planned);
- Have a very good understanding of Dutch and EU energy law and policy;
- Demonstrate a keen interest in developing research and education activities in the field of Dutch energy law and policy, but also in the broader field of EU internal market law;
- Have demonstrable teaching experience and fine didactic skills;
- Have a University Teaching Qualification (in Dutch: BKO), or be prepared to acquire this within the first two years of employment;
- Excellent (written and verbal) proficiency in Dutch and English (level C1);
- You are flexible and adaptable to adjust your research focus in light of legal and technological developments;
- Show scientific integrity and contribute to an open and diversified academic culture;
- Be committed to being an active member of our team and the department, and to integrate into the environment provided by the department and the Law School;
- You demonstrate personal leadership: you take responsibility for your work and career and possess a good level of self-knowledge;

- A salary of minimum of €5,441 and maximum € 6,986 gross per month for full-time employment, based on UFO profile Associate Professor 2 and salary scale 12. Tilburg University uses a neutral remuneration system based on relevant education and work experience.
- Vacation pay of 8% and a year-end bonus of 8.3%.
- Over 8 weeks of vacation leave.

The first selection interviews will take place on November 11, 2024. These interviews will be live and take place on location in Tilburg.
