Operator / Production Worker

**About the role**:
As a line operator, you will ensure the qualitative and quantitative progress of production in a team under safe and environmentally responsible conditions, managing one production line in liquids/gel or the front/back section of an aerosol line at SC Johnson Europlant

**Tasks at your own workplace**:

- Work according to established and applicable safety instructions, work instructions, procedures, and wear the prescribed personal protective equipment
- Perform quality checks applicable across the entire line according to SC Johnson quality standards, including inline checks
- Perform safety checks applicable across the entire line according to SC Johnson safety standards, including inline checks
- Operate, convert, adjust, and set up machines
- Troubleshoot and repair exchange parts
- Check equipment used by the Operator (e.g., Electric Pallet Truck) using a checklist
- Perform AM/PM tasks for your own workplace
- Keep your workplace and machine parts clean and tidy
- Operate, register, and report production data in RED-Zone

**Tasks in the production process**:

- Ensure proper supply and removal of components to the line (one way flow, line clearance) Signal and escalate deviations (SHE, Quality, and Production) and resolve them in consultation with the colleague Operator and/or Shift Lead
- Explain and direct Service Operators and temporary workers on the production line
- Point of contact during huddles for a specific line
- Collaborate with other functions, such as Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, SHE, and Planning
- Ensure a safe, clean, and tidy working environment together with colleagues

**Attitude and behavior**:

- Contribute to a pleasant, positive, open, and safe working atmosphere within the team
- Active and executive role within continuous improvement activities (e.g., 5S, AM, Scrap, etc.)
- Identify production problems and bottlenecks and suggest improvements
- Serve as a role model for other colleagues (Service Operators and temporary workers)
- Contribute to and optimize safety, quality, and production efficiency
- Cover for team members during breaks or understaffing
- Perform other tasks as requested by the Shift Lead

**JOB PROFILE, REQUIRED EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS**
- MBO 2 or equivalent
- Proficiency in Dutch and basic knowledge of English
- Operate and handle computers and software (Microsoft Office)

**OTHER WORK EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES**
- Reach truck diploma is a plus
- Technical education direction, Vapro A and B fully is a plus
- Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, control technology, and/or industrial automation
- Experience in a production environment

**Work schedule**:
Working in three shifts, where you have night shifts one week (22:45-07:00), evening shifts the next week (14:45-23:00), and then morning shifts (06:45-15:00)
