**The role**:
Picture a day in the life of our new finance administrator. The morning kicks off with a delicious cup of coffee or tea, setting the stage for a productive day ahead, whether in our office in The Hague, the hotel in Rotterdam, or the comfort of your own home.

Laptop lid flipped open, you connect with the hotel managers and the revenue team, to gather the intel you need to accurately report the hotels' different revenue streams. Once all the revenues are recorded, you create a report to send to the support teams and the investors. Your eagle eye spots an opportunity to make the report even better, and you implement the change before sending it.

While the support office is still looking at the revenue reports, you've already jumped onto the next task: ensuring all received invoices are booked correctly. Fortunately, the system is well-automated, so this is a fast task. You see some invoices need paying soon and you update the cash flow tracker. You'll prepare the payments later, as first it's time for lunch.

After a well-deserved lunch break, it's time to connect with colleagues to brainstorm over the latest financial and operational SOPs you've been working on. Loads of great ideas flow, and everyone's impressed by the standards you're proposing.

With the day winding down, you wrap up by ensuring the last received invoices are booked. Tomorrow is the last day of the month, and you'll need to close the books. Most dread it, but you? You've got this ready in no time, thanks to your on-the-ball preparations. Another month-end masterpiece incoming

**Below you will find some daily financial operations**:

- ** Streamline revenue & payables**: Record all financial transactions daily, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and managing accounts payable efficiently.
- ** Real-time reconciliation**: Maintain control over daily transactions and receipts with real-time system reconciliations.
- ** Order-to-cash optimization**: Verify and account for orders and invoices, guaranteeing timely payments. This includes collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth invoice processing.
- ** Management Accounts Expertise**: Manage management accounts, providing insights for strategic decision making.
- ** Financial Reporting Champion**: Coordinate and support daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting activities for the region.
- ** Standardization Advocate**: Spearhead the rollout of new finance and operational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to optimize processes.
