Treasurer

**Treasurer (1.0 FTE)**

With headquarters located in Breda (the Netherlands), Vroon employs about 1,400 professionals in offices around the world and on board a diverse fleet of approximately 65 deep sea and offshore vessels. The Company is active through various subsidiaries and under different brand names, with a focus on its specialised fleets of product and high-heat tankers, livestock carriers and emergency response and rescue vessels.

From our Breda office, approximately 95 staff support the Company’s activities.

**What will you do?**
In this position, with a wide range of activities in the Treasury domain, you are responsible for:

- Cash and bank-account management;
- Cash-flow forecasting;
- Reporting and analysing liquidity position, outstanding loans, interest and interest-rate hedging positions and foreign-exchange-rate exposure;
- Monitoring intercompany finance structures;
- Maintaining a proactive relationship within the finance community of Vroon, banks, legal counsels and other stakeholders;
- Managing compliance with finance arrangements, internal and external rules and regulations;
- Updating and maintaining the Treasury framework
- Participating and supporting the CFO with ad-hoc projects (e.g. re-financing of the current finance arrangements, financing of new activities).

In this position, you report to the Group Accounting & Reporting Manager.

**Who are we looking for?**
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, Accounting or equivalent;
- A minimum of five years’ experience in a Treasury, Accounting or Controlling position;
- Commercial and legal awareness;
- Affinity with the maritime industry is a plus;
- Excellent written and verbal communication and reporting skills in English;
- A pragmatic mindset, is pro-active and a self-starter.
