Position Summary

The eCommerce Business Innovation Manager focuses on innovating the Samsung e-commerce value proposition. You own the innovation roadmap and create distinctive and innovative reasons-to-buy for our E-store for both our consumer as our business customers.

Reports to the eCommerce Business Innovation Lead and working frequently with the Benelux E-store Director and other members of the E-store management team.

The key stakeholders involve: E-store Management Team (Category Leads, Channel Lead and Operation Lead), Digital Strategy & Marketing Leads, E-store Business Controller, Corporate Marketing team, Data & Insights team, all Samsung Benelux Heads of Division and Business Directors and other relevant stakeholders at the European Office (UK) and HQ (Korea).

Tasks and responsibilities
- Design, implement and drive opportunities to grow the eCommerce business: these opportunities include (but are not limited to) cross-divisional collaborations for new eCommerce value propositions and new business models and markets.
- Develop innovative e-commerce propositions with a customer centric and an end-to-end approach.
- Perform market researches for proposition development and ensure solid business cases are available for decision making.
- Manage existing propositions including contracts with the external suppliers, watch over the technical platform development, and closely monitor proposition performance and take necessary actions to improve them.
- Lead and follow-up on all projects diligently, solve any roadblocks and report on the progress regularly.
- Deeply understand the Samsung Benelux organization, its many stakeholders, its business status and strategy through personal contact and understanding of business and marketing data.
- Work closely with the Business Innovation Lead and the E-store management team to understand business direction and priorities. Translate these into deliverables and projects, and drive the progress continuously
- Develop adequate reporting, together with the Data & Insights team and the Business Controller, on key aspects of all E-commerce proposition performance.
- Provide detailed support for top management performance reporting. Developing business review presentations for Local/EU/Global management meetings and reports.

Our ideal eCommerce Business Innovation Manager meets the following criteria:

- You are fluent in English and Dutch
- University education or similar level of thinking with at least 6 years of relevant working experience
- You have experience with developing strategies and preferably in eCommerce. You own the full process: from getting senior management buy-in to flawless implementation and execution.
- You have a strong track record in project management and implemented multiple eCommerce innovations/propositions at the same time while managing change in a fast paced organization
- You take the lead and are pro-active and result driven, both on short term and long term. You can deal with multiple initiatives simultaneously and you take each challenge with pragmatism and flexibility.
- You possess excellent interpersonal skills and navigate smoothly throughout different levels in the organization. You can motivate people without authority.
- You excel at stakeholder management and can work with colleagues from different business units, at different levels and within an international organization.
- You are fact based and strongly analytical and possess solid commercial skills.
