We at Shimano are looking for a supply chain logistics coordinator. Who highly organized, detail-oriented, autonomous, responsible for managing the logístical supply chain processes around international and national transportation ensuring efficient and effective operations in line with Shimano Quality standards and compliance with customs authorities.

The Challenge
- Coordinate and manage carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners.
- Maintain tools and administration processes for logistics, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Develop tools and processes which enhance the efficiency of transportation department towards other internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze performance results, collaborate with suppliers to optimize and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Control and validate outsourced customs processes, maintain accurate customs master data, enhance customs flows, and explore new opportunities.
- Monthly internal checking and periodic auditing of customs department and transportation procedures relating to international trade import and export.
- Analyze financial transportation customs & logistics data for accuracy against contractual rates and requirements.
- Develop and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for transportation, customs processes, and systems, ensuring staff compliance.
- Collaborate with various business units to optimize stock usage, warehousing, transportation, and customs processes leading to more efficient distribution reducing cost all round.

What are we looking for?
- 3-5 years’ experience in logistics and transportation management systems (TMS) and customs software.
- HBO/bachelor’s level in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations and customs processes or have an aptitude to dive into international trade and customs arena.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
