**About the Role**

As Project Leader Photonics Packaging, you will oversee PHIX’s contributions to international R&D projects within collaborative consortia. You will represent PHIX in these projects, coordinate our activities, and ensure that project objectives are translated into actionable assembly process designs. A key part of your role will involve defining and implementing design optimizations to improve prototype manufacturability.

**Responsibilities**
- Represent PHIX and coordinate our activities within R&D project consortia.
- Translate project objectives into specific assembly process designs.
- Define and implement prototype design optimizations to enhance manufacturability.

**Job Requirements**
- MSc degree in Photonics, Physics, or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in photonics.
- Proven experience in managing R&D projects in consortia involving multiple stakeholders.
- A practical and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- Strong ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in reporting and documentation.

**Languages**
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in Dutch, or willingness to learn.
