**We’re looking for a Quality Controller to join our team in Maasdijk, Netherlands.**

**Responsibilities/Tasks**

Intake Inspection and Reporting
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, assessing quality, quantity, and adherence to specifications using standardised tools.
- Accurately record findings, generate reports, and escalate critical issues as needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Sample Management and Testing
- Manage fruit sample collection, preparation, storage, and basic quality testing.
- Monitor and report yield and defect data, by pallet and grower, from tests and trials.

Quality Support and Innovation
- Assist in supervising external surveyors, participate in developing new quality control technologies, and prepare customer and laboratory samples.
- Collect, arrange and manage fruit for project work associated with innovation and development.
- Support quality control functions across WFUK sites, fostering collaboration.
- Assist and support the Technical team in activities as required.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in a quality control or related role, preferably within the fresh produce industry.
- Proven experience in conducting inspections of incoming raw materials according to established quality standards and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify potential quality issues during inspections.
- A demonstrated ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, technical teams, and external surveyors.
- A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
