**Your Role**:
As a designer, you serve as the repository of knowledge within the project. Your responsibilities include maintaining a comprehensive overview, making technical determinations, and ensuring quality control. Alongside your extensive software expertise, you possess strong communication skills, adept at motivating, persuading, contextualizing, and presenting. **Job Requirements**:
Your innate curiosity and fervor for all facets of software development drive you. Challenges don't deter you; instead, you thrive on devising unconventional solutions. Your proactive demeanour, commitment to results, and adeptness at teamwork define you. A completed HBO diploma with an IT specialization and a minimum of 5 years' experience in software engineering are required.

Additionally, proficiency in the following areas is preferred:

- Proficiency in Java and/or C#, or equivalent languages
- Thorough understanding of software security principles
- Proficiency in navigating infrastructure
- Automation (CI/CD)
- Proficiency in monitoring and management
- Prior project management experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with data warehousing (preferred)

**Your Destination**:
As a Software Designer, you'll join the Insurance division within the Financial Services sector. The financial realm is dynamically evolving, with insurers and pension providers grappling with significant challenges. These include pension scheme transformations and escalating customer expectations. Concurrently, cost management, leveraging data science, digitalization, and compliance with burgeoning legislation are pressing concerns necessitating resolutions. Technology emerges as the linchpin for surmounting these challenges. We assume a pivotal role in digitizing financial workflows, spanning customer interfaces to Back End operations handling pensions and insurance claims.
