**Join Our Team as a Supply Planning Manager at AkzoNobel in Sassenheim**:
**Let's paint the picture of the role**:
Are you a strategic leader with a passion for supply chain management? At AkzoNobel, we're seeking a dynamic Supply Planning Manager to drive our end-to-end supply chain (E2E SC) facilitation and achieve optimal service levels for our Sassenheim site. This role focuses on our EMEA VR business, while also supporting Aero, CVCTa, MPY, and other global regions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Strategic Leadership: As a key member of the supply chain management team, contribute to developing and implementing the supply chain strategy. Translate this strategy into actionable priorities for the SSH ASC planning team.
- Efficient Planning: Ensure ASC SSH products are planned according to demand and coordinate with stakeholders to address potential capacity issues. Optimize plant capacities for efficiency.
- Performance Improvement: Drive improvements in service, inventory management, and reduce slow-moving and obsolete inventories.
- Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop the SSH ASC Supply Planning team, guiding them in their daily activities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster close collaboration with sales, demand planning, manufacturing, raw materials, procurement, logistics, customer service, and finance to ensure alignment and achieve strategic goals.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in English and Dutch
- Advanced Excel skills and general IT proficiency
- Strong continuous improvement skills and people management capabilities
- Solid academic background in supply chain management or relevant certifications (CPIM or CSCP)

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong interpersonal relationship skills and effective communication
- High stress resistance and a proactive problem-solving attitude
- Focus on results and a strong executive presence
- Creative problem-solving abilities and scenario management expertise
- Proficiency in data analytics and management Business process expertise and transactional execution skills
