**All about the role**

As the Industrial & Labour Relations Lead for the Northern Europe Region, you will play a critical role in shaping the labour relations landscape in some of our key markets, including the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, Austria, etc..

You will be the point of contact of our HRBPs who work with works councils, unions, and other relevant bodies, ensuring that JET’s employment strategies align with both legal frameworks and our corporate values.

In this role, you will also advise regional leadership on labour relations matters, mediate collective bargaining processes, and develop strategies to manage industrial relations that support JET’s business objectives. Your work will contribute directly to the development of forward-looking employment models that promote the fair treatment of employees, enhance employee engagement, and drive retention.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Strategic Leadership: Co-develop with the Head of ILR and implement a comprehensive Industrial & Labour Relations strategy for the Northern Europe region, aligned with JET’s global goals and values.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain robust relationships with regional trade unions, works councils, governmental bodies, and other labour-related institutions.
- Advisory Role: Counsel regional leadership on labour relations issues, collective bargaining, and compliance with local labour laws and regulations.
- Policy Development: Collaborate with the Group Industrial & Labour Relations Manager and Legal to influence labour-related policies and regulations across the region.
- Collaboration: Work closely with HR Business Partners and People Insights teams to analyse labour trends, develop metrics, and support the implementation of HR programs that promote positive employee relations.
- Scenario Planning: Identify and prepare for emerging labour relations challenges, developing proactive strategies to address potential issues in a rapidly changing environment.

**What will you bring to the table?**
- A higher education degree in Law, HR or Business Administration, or a related field. Significant experience in Industrial & Labour Relations, particularly within the Northern Europe region.
- Demonstrated success in managing relationships with unions, works councils, and other employee representation bodies. Experience in collective bargaining and navigating complex labour laws is essential.
- Ability to translate JET’s global vision into a region-specific strategy that supports business objectives while fostering positive employee relations.
- Comprehensive verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and manage sensitive information effectively.
