**Purpose of the role**
To lead, coach and mentor your team to deliver customer daily orders, to a high standard and in the most cost-effective manner whilst ensuring customer specifications and compliance with our site health and safety obligations are adhered to. To work in collaboration and cross functionally across all Operations through the planning, Supply Chain, production and logístical partners
**Core business responsibilities**
- Be proactive to identify on any upcoming issues in despatch to ensure that haulier delays will be minimized or not have at all. All issues/concerns need to be escalated to relevant departments. (inc. planning, production, hauliers, supply chain or logistics team)
- Monitor the daily performance of the picking and despatching, taking a proactive approach to improve underperforming areas though coaching, training, and redeployment of skills as necessary.
- Time management is the key to efficient working
- identifying potential people with good skills to grow in the business
- Ensure that you are always aware of the status of your area, if they are behind then tangible action must be taken as soon as possible to get back on plan
- keep commercial up to date with any delays or rejections
- Health & Safety - report all hazards, incidents, and accident. Be proactive in your approach and reward safe behaviour.
**Person profile**
- Experience within a warehouse environment (full training will be given)
- Good standard of education, specifically in English.
- Problem solving
- Good cultural fit against Company values and benefits
- Drive and determination
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
**What we offer**
- A competitive salary of €2,750 per month, based on experience excl. 8% holiday pay;
