**Robot Trajectory Planning Internship**:
**Your assignment**

This internship focuses on a cognitive algorithm for complex path-planning in industrial

robotics defining the needs, goals and requirements plus advancing navigation

competence.

basic prototyping started and is advancing using an industrial robot with the basic

principles being covered. Nevertheless, some issues still remain within the cognitive

path-planning optimization procedure.

Followed by analysing different path-planning strategies most suitable to the

accordingly.

This internship is intended as a graduation project for bachelor and master students.

**Your time**

The preferred start is September 2024. Its duration depends on the weekly availability of the student (minimum 5-6 months fulltime equivalent).

**Your profile**

You have a real passion for robotics, creating intelligent software for solving optimization problems, starting from zero in a creative and inventive way.

Therefore, you are:

- a bachelor/master student in computer science, information technology, software engineering, systems & control, embedded systems, robotics, mechatronics or similar;
- a strong affinity with complex topics like guidance, optimization problems & cognitive adaptation.
- highly interested in robotic path-planning, or better, have some experience with it;
- comfortable with development environments and SCM tools like Linux, Git, GitHub;
- having programming skills (any or some Python,.Net, C++) and eager to learn more;
- effective communication in English or Dutch.

Bonus points if you are someone who:

- has practical experience with programming and handling Fanuc robots, notably the teach pendant;
