**About Gastropub Rokin 85**
Our mission is to create an environment where everyone can get away from the daily hustle and bustle, meet & greet (new)-friends while having a wide selection of beverages available and high quality food.
Rokin 85 strives to facilitates the best of 2 worlds. On the one hand, you have our 12 meter long bar awaiting you to enjoy wide selection of cold brewed beers, wines and innovative cocktails while you are immersed in the Amsterdam pub atmosphere of conviviality and solidarity. On the other hand, there is our 100+ covert international culinary restaurant. Where we gave a twist on the traditional Amsterdam pub grub recipes and strenghten it with international flavours which is serverd in a share dining concept.
From drinks in the bar to shared dining in the restaurant, everything is intended and designed to meet each other and make new friends.
We are located on the renovated and vibrant street Rokin, in the heart of Amsterdam. The perfect place to see the Amsterdam street live go by while you escape the daily hustle and bustle. Open every day from breakfast till nightcap.

**Job requirements as Bartender and barback**
- As bartender and barback you strive to give the best guest experience from arrival to departure
- Operational duties ; Daily opening and closing responsibilities fort he bar.
- Making (non)-alcoholic beverages
- Take orders and serve drinks
- Restock and replenisch bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest orriented and maintain a clean shop.
- Work according the HACCP guideline as described in the training manual to comply with all food and beverage regulations

**Who are you as Bartender and Barback?**
- You possess a natural hospitality charm
- Experience as bartender / barback
- You strive for constant improvement for yourself and your team
- Poses a team spirit
- Ability to thrive in a dinamic and fast-pase environment
- You are and available for evenings and weekends
- Able to ensure opening and/or closing activities
- Available full-time
- A good understanding an speaking of English
- living in and around Amasterdam

Onze missie is om een omgeving te creëren waar iedereen kan ontsnappen aan de dagelijkse drukte, (nieuwe) vrienden kan ontmoeten en begroeten terwijl er een ruime keuze is aan dranken en eten van hoge kwaliteit.

Rokin 85 streeft ernaar om het beste van de 2 werelden in horeca te faciliteren. Aan de ene kant heb je onze 12 meter lange bar die op je wacht om te genieten van een ruime keuze aan koud gebrouwen bieren, wijnen en innovatieve cocktails terwijl je wordt ondergedompeld in de Amsterdamse pubsfeer van gezelligheid en solidariteit. Aan de andere kant is er ons internationale culinaire restaurant die ruimte biedt aan meer dan 100 gasten. Waar we een draai geven aan de traditionele Amsterdamse pubgrub-recepten en deze versterkten met internationale smaken die worden geserveerd in een share dining-concept.

Van drankjes in de bar tot shared dining in het restaurant, alles is bedoeld en ontworpen om elkaar te ontmoeten en nieuwe vrienden te maken in deze nieuwe horeca gelegenheid.

We zijn gevestigd aan de gerenoveerde en levendige straat Rokin, in het hart van Amsterdam. De perfecte plek om de drukte van Amsterdam te zien passeren terwijl je zelf ontsnapt aan de dagelijkse drukte. Elke dag geopend van ontbijt tot slaapmuts.

**Functie-eisen als Bartender en Barback**
- Als bartender en barback streef je ernaar om de beste gastervaring te bieden van aankomst tot vertrek.
- Operationele taken: dagelijkse openings
- en sluitverantwoordelijkheden voor de bar.
- Het maken van (niet)-alcoholische dranken.
- Opnemen van bestellingen en serveren van drankjes.
- Het aanvullen en bijvullen van de voorraad en benodigdheden van de bar.
- Gericht blijven op de gast en zorgen voor een schone omgeving.
- Werken volgens de HACCP-richtlijnen zoals beschreven in het trainingshandboek, om te voldoen aan alle voedsel
- en drankvoorschriften.

**Wie ben jij als Bartender en Barback?**
- Je beschikt over een natuurlijke gastvrijheid en charme.
- Ervaring als bartender / barback.
- Je streeft naar voortdurende verbetering voor jezelf en je team.
- Je hebt teamgeest.
- Je kunt goed functioneren in een dynamische en snelle werkomgeving.
- Je bent beschikbaar in de avonden en weekenden.
- Je kunt zorg dragen voor de openings
- en/of sluitwerkzaamheden.
- Fulltime beschikbaar.
- Je hebt een goed begrip van en spreekt Engels.
- Woonachtig in of rondom Amsterdam.
