**Description**

As a Field Operator (FO) you are responsible, together with fellow operator(s), for directing and operating the SMA/SMI production process so that production objectives (OEE) are met and HSE performance and process continuity are maintained. You report to the Shift Supervisor on duty.

**Job Details**
- Location: Geleen, Limburg

**Role Specific Responsibilities**:

- Controlling and monitoring the condition of the process installation and the progress of the production process during the shift so that the objectives are achieved efficiently (safety, planning, OEE, costs, etc.);
- Monitoring and adjusting the process from the measuring room using the control system (DCS);
- Starting up and stopping the (sub)installations from the measuring room using the control system (DCS);
- Supporting the safe delivery of equipment for maintenance and control activities (from the MK);
- Informing the current status of the plant. Reporting, signaling and registering current status + any particularities regarding plant condition, process progress and actions taken in the appropriate systems. Shift handover is crucial in transferring the correct information;
- Operational management of outside operators.

- Reports all Health, Safety and Environmental accidents, incidents and near misses promptly
- Acts in a safe and responsible manner at all times

- Takes responsibility and ownership for own learning and development in the spirit of continuous improvement of both self and the business
- Assists in the training, mentoring, and assessment of other team members

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- MBO working and thinking level;
- Command of all sections in the plant as an outside operator and at least 2 years of experience as an outside operator;
- Experience in or affinity with chemical engineering;
- Affinity with complex technical installations;
- Command of Dutch and English language.
