Business Controller

As Business Controller for the Headquarters (HQ) at Boels Rental you are the financial conscience of several central departments at our headquarter, such as Real Estate, Central Warehouse, Finance and Fleet departments. In the cooperation with these departments you bring financial and business expertise and know how to constructively provide new insights, to challenge and advise on possible improvements, and above all: you deliver. You do this based on insight and substantive arguments, clear “data driven” steering information and with persuasiveness. You are closely involved in the CAPEX decision-making process and you monitor the performance of your assigned central departments.

You as Business Controller for the Boels HQ bring in financial expertise and combine it with business acumen to bring Finance and the respective HQ-departments to the next level.

**Other responsibilities are**:

- Providing management with financial analysis & advise.
- Facilitating strategic projects such as acquisitions, sustainability projects and financing projects.
- Forecasting, budgeting, and reporting regarding P&L, Capex and cash flow.

**What do you bring?**
- **Education**: WO level of education, a post-master degree in RA/RC is an advantage.
- **Experience**: at least 5 years, within the private sector, in a similar role.
- **Attitude**: you have a high level of perseverance, and are decisive in making decisions.
- **Analytical skills**: possesses excellent analytical skills, can quickly grasp complex issues and knows how to translate this to the business effectively with his or her own style.
