**Summer Job: Warehouse Employee**: Work at one of the largest wholesalers of all catering needs such as vegetables, poultry, dairy, non-food, and many fresh products with eighteen branches in the Netherlands.
**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
As an order picker your main work activities are restocking shelves and picking products for clients, so they are ready to be transported the next morning to clients (e.g. restaurants). You will work with a scanner and have a high degree of responsibility and independence. It is important you have a good memory of where products are located. The work atmosphere is characterized as open and friendly. You will work together with both international and Dutch employees.

The company is one of the largest wholesalers of all catering needs such as vegetables, dairy, non-food and many fresh products with eighteen branches in the Netherlands. This company is located 16 minutes by public transport and 22 minutes by bike from Amsterdam Central Station.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- You are proactive and reliable
- Living in or around Amsterdam
- You are available between 3 June and 11 August
- Available for at least 16 hours per week, the more the better
- Available to work always the saturday morning shift (07:00 - 16:00) + another evening shift (14:00 - 23:00) in the week

**HOURS & SALARY**:
The company will make a work schedule in advance that is possible to combine with your study schedule. Your shift times will be:

- Morning shift 07:00 - 16:00 (Saturday) (you can start 08:00 if you rely on public transportation)
- Evening shift 14:00 - 23:00 (Sunday-Friday)

Deducting the breaks, your shifts will be 8 hours of work.

Your salary is:
21 or 21+: €13.71 per hour
20: €12.51 per hour
19: €10.10 per hour
18: €8.42 per hour

Allowances
You get an extra allowance of €0,79 per hour in the freezer department.
20% allowance if you work during the night (00:00 - 06:00)
100% allowance if you work on Sunday (00:00 - 24:00)

You will get travel cost reimbursement (€0.19/km) when the travel distance is more than 10 km.

The employer is also open to non-EU students, work permit can be facilitated.
