Location: Leiden

What will you do as a Data Architect?

Data Solution Architecture: Advise the HNS D&T organization and different digital projects on data and technology aspects. Create and maintain data and analytics domain transition architectures, taking into account global target architecture and HNS-specific needs.

High-Level and Detailed Designs: Develop and maintain high-level and detailed design documents,

Technical Solution Development: Lead and take responsibility for technical solution development within multidisciplinary project teams.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Business Partnering:

- Build partnerships within local and global D&T teams and relevant business owners.
- Translate value stories into data-driven solutions aligned with business strategy and D&T roadmap.
- Understand business processes, systems, and information needs of assigned business areas and challenge your stakeholders when & where necessary based on technical feasibility and/or business value
- Identify, challenge, and document functional and technical requirements and ensure solutions are fit for purpose in supporting HEINEKEN business processes.

2. Service Improvement:

- Translate service requests into technology services & ensure proper execution and SLA setup.
- Contribute to the handover of Data Solution (BI & Advanced Analytics) solutions onto the AEP and manage the service and maintenance process.

3. Solution Architecture & Design:

- Translate requirements into functional and technical solution design that adhere to global D&T architecture standards and use the latest standards and best practices.

4. Solution Deployment:

- Work together with the Business Intelligence team (AGILE/SCRUM) to deliver the value stories and improvements to the platform in the most optimal way.
- Manage solutions via Dev-OPS or managed services contracts, including handover to support.

5. Security & Risk Management:

- Protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability of HEINEKEN’s information assets by ensuring compliance with information security standards and legal/regulatory requirements.

6. Personal Development:

- Create and work on a Personal Development Plan, driving personal development
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- You have extensive experience with data solutions, project management and the AGILE/SCRUM methodology, and architectural principles, preferably a Microsoft Certified IT Professional
- More than 5 years’ experience with the solution design of the Microsoft (BI) Azure stack and experience with relevant tooling & developments in the market.
- Extensive experience with Data warehouse concepts, Kimball Data Modelling principles, and MPP BI databases
- You possess strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and the ability to connect with various stakeholders.
- You have a good command of the English & Dutch language.
- You already reside in the Netherlands. We don't offer a Visa Sponshorship for this position.

Where Will You Be Working
As a Data Architect, you will be part of a dynamic and professional team focused on optimizing the digital landscape within HNS. You will collaborate with various departments and global teams, sharing knowledge and expertise to ensure successful project outcomes. Your direct supervisor will be the Manager Data & Analytics, who will support and guide you in your role.
