Dan is dit de baan voor jou Wij bieden een afwisselende functie waarin je onderzoekers en studenten ondersteunt met het optimaliseren en in de lucht houden van onderzoeksopstellingen. En is er een pompinstallatie kapot? Ook dan ga jij aan de slag om het op te lossen. Je kent de behoeftes van onze wetenschappers en zet je in voor een optimale technische infrastructuur. Dit doe je in samenwerking met ervaren directe collega technici, collega’s van TU Delft Contract en Real Estate en de specialisten van onze mechanische werkplaats. Je komt te werken in een internationale organisatie binnen een divers, hecht team. We hebben verschillende laboratoria met een breed scala aan complexe apparatuur, denk hierbij aan diverse soorten microscopen, lasers, magneten en natte /droge cryostaten. Functie-eisen
Je hebt een HBO- of MBO-diploma in werktuigbouwkunde, laboratoriumtechniek of vergelijkbaar. We verwelkomen zowel kandidaten met ruime werkervaring die hun expertise willen inzetten en verdiepen als startende technici.

- Je hebt affiniteit en/of ervaring met (vacuüm) techniek en het ontwerpen en vervaardigen van (fijn)mechanische constructies.
- Je voelt je thuis in een internationale omgeving en kunt vrij in het Engels communiceren met onderzoekers, studenten, collega’s en leveranciers.
- Je houding is professioneel en dit straal je uit in je werkwijze en contacten met anderen.
- Je houdt van afwisseling en een dynamische omgeving waarin prioriteiten snel kunnen veranderen en vaak creatieve oplossingen nodig zijn.
- Veiligheid staat bij jou hoog in het vaandel, je bent bereid om evt. cursussen te volgen om je kennis van zaken op het gebied van laserveiligheid, werken met chemicaliën e.d. op peil te houden of te krijgen.
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
Als technicus ontvang je een salaris volgens schaal 8 van de cao van de Nederlandse Universiteiten met een minimum van € 3.186;
- en een maximum van € 4.255;
- bij een werkweek van 38 uur, plus 8% vakantiegeld en een eindejaarsuitkering van 8,3%. We hebben ook ruimte voor startende technici (schaal 7) waar we extra investeren in opleiding en begeleiding.

Faculteit Technische Natuurwetenschappen
- Met meer dan 1.100 medewerkers, waaronder 150 baanbrekende hoofdonderzoekers (principal investigators), en ongeveer 3.600 gepassioneerde studenten is de faculteit Technische Natuurwetenschappen een inspirerend wetenschappelijk ecosysteem.
