Yolk recruitment is recruiting for a HSSE Supervisor to work with a global energy giant.
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a long-term, major project within the energy sector.
You will be authorised to act on behalf of the HSSE Lead in all matters related to health, safety, security, and environment.

**Responsibilities**:
- Plans, organizes, coordinates and controls health, safety, security, and environmental issues for the project whilst overseeing full compliance with the agreed project HSSE program
- Supports in coordination of emergency response/first aid services provided by the project.
- Provide input to incident reports and statistics and assists with prevention programs
- Supports the company during any accident/incident investigation.
- Assists with risk analysis performed by construction partners/subcontractors: assistance/participation by Supervisors and SME's (Subject Matter Experts) where necessary.
- Assists construction supervision and project personnel in developing interest and promoting participation in the job site safety (incentive) programs.
- Ensures HSSE Inspections of the jobsite daily, promoting good housekeeping and identifying potential hazards, ensuring that all risks are controlled and mitigated in compliance with the
- Supports the Permit to Work Coordinators (permit desk operators) where necessary.
- Participates in the Trio concept, the cooperation between construction, contractor and HSSE.
- Provides, maintains and continually updates site safety records, statistics and trend analysis as requested by the HSSE Lead.
**Experience Required**:
- 10+ years' experience in the HSSE discipline, gained in the chemical, petrochemical, or renewables energy industry, preferably including greenfield/brownfield project experience.
- Experience with occupational HSSE including preparation of HSSE plans and training materials and conducting related trainings and workshops.
- Experience with Behaviour Based Safety programs.
- Experience with ISO14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
- Advanced computer skills with packages such as Microsoft, Excel and common construction industry document management systems.
