**About the job**

This position performs a key role in maintaining industry specific equipment requiring experience in a broad range of skills including electrical and mechanical.

**Responsibilities**:
Essential Job duties would be the following:

- Fully understand and operate the seed cleaning plant
- Ensure that clean seed meets quality specs while running at a optimal production rate.
- Perform pre inspection of inbound seed and alert management of any quality issues.
- Keep the cleaning production on pace to meet scheduled deadlines.
- Ensure accuracy of clean seed inventory by keeping proper cleaning records
- Accurately tag and warehouse clean seed
- Identify and perform all periodic maintenance on the cleaning plant
- Be able to identify weed seeds and other clean seed contaminants
- Properly sample clean seed and retain appropriate samples
- Understand and perform all plant equipment changeovers and lead a small crew to minimize down time
- Lead a small crew in daily seed cleaning activities, bagging and blending in the seed cleaning plant
- Manage warehouse space to allow for incoming clean seed
- Ability to safety use various hand tools while working from high platforms
- Operate forklifts
- Ability to work in extreme temperature ranges
- Work in a dusty and noisy environment while utilizing proper PPE
- Utilize lock out tag
- Help management identify and solve any safety issues with the seed cleaning plant
- Currently hold or the ability to obtain a class B CDL
- Any other job responsibilities assigned

**Qualifications**:
**Electrical/Mechanical Skills**

**Active Class B CDL / or Ability to Obtain Class B CDL**

**Warehouse/Forklift Certification**

**Minimum of 2 Years Experience in Equipment Maintenance**

**Warehouse Osha Compliance Safety**

**Compensation and Benefits**:
This position comes with a competitive compensation plan that includes a base wage, use of company truck as needed, benefit options, retirement savings plan with company contribution, vacation, and personal days. Compensation will be based on experience and required qualifications.
