As a **Cyber Threat Intelligence Intern** you’ll be responsible for detecting and mitigating threats.

**What you’ll do**
- Perform OSINT investigations on malicious indicators
- Create scripts for automating multiple CTI processes
- Develop scripts to import internal data within CTI tools or further analyze that data
- Assist with specific projects regarding the used Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP)
- Investigate malware and threat actors
- Create technical reports on specific discoveries or threats
- Communicate with multiple stakeholders regarding the team's/your findings
- You will be a member of a team with a wide range of CTI capabilities that you will experience or better comprehend

**Your qualifications**
- BSC/HBO/MSC in cyber security or computer science (MSC is preferred but is not necessary)
- Knowledge and experience of programming in Python, Go or similar language is required
- Knowledge of network protocols and TCP/IP or OSI model is necessary
- Understanding of attack frameworks such as Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK
- Knowledge and experience with identifying if an indicator is malicious or not (OSINT)
- Curiosity in how threat actors perform attacks and their mentality
- Critical and outside the box thinking
- Great communication and writing skills in English

Bonus points
- Speaking multiple languages like, French, Spanish, Russian, Persian
- Any additional training or courses in the CTI field
- Experience with CTFs or training websites such as hackthebox and tryhackme
- Programming projects in Python and Go in a public repository like GitHub
- Any performed researched on a cyber security topic or cyber threats
- Knowledge of malware types and how they work

- EU/EER students: In order to be considered for this internship, you need to be registered as a student during the entire internship period. Formal documentation of this may be requested at any time.
- Non-EU students in Dutch Universities: You need to be registered as a student and your university needs to sign the Nuffic Agreement. The internship needs to be a compulsory part of your studies (receive ECTS in turn). In the case of a non-compulsory internship, you need to have a letter from the university which it states that your internship contributes to your personal development, what your learning goals are and what tasks you will undertake during your internship. The letter has to be signed and stamped by your university.
- Non-EU students in non-Dutch Universities: You need to be registered as a student and the internship should be a compulsory part of your studies. Also, you need to be able to get the official approval of your university for this internship (Nuffic agreement).
