Ecommerce and ‘Brick & Mortar’ Retail is our exciting game board in the ever-evolving toy industry, and we are all set to play About the position: We are on the hunt for an experienced and dynamic Key Account Manager Retail who is ready to join our Regional Sales Team Netherlands. You will be our champion in driving consistent product sales victories at our major customers and ensuring robust and continual sell-in results. Your role will require close collaboration with our internal teams, business customers, and the sales squad. Gameplay Strategy - Key Quests and Missions: 1. Be the commercial point of contact for your designated retail accounts. 2. Ensure maximum customer satisfaction. 3. Continuously look for opportunities to increase our footprint within Jumbo’s category 4. Combine the needs of the customer with the possibilities that are available within the Jumbo portfolio. 5. Draw up sales- and account plans and maintain intensive contact with our partners. 6. Follow all the developments in the market and respond to them together with your marketing colleagues. 7. Enthuse the various customers with your knowledge of the products to expand their portfolio. Why this job is (not) for you: You thrive in an entrepreneurial playground with endless opportunities to grow yourself and the gameboard. You are a natural tactician, bringing structure to even the most unpredictable games. If you prefer a fixed rulebook from the start, this might not be your game. Analytic, forecasting and distribution strategy are terms that come natural in your game play. Having fun in achieving goals is your way to play a game. If your play style leans more towards office politics than actual game tactics, you might want to look elsewhere. If you prefer setting game rules over getting your hands on the game pieces, a more structured corporate environment might be a better match. Player's Handbook - Skills and Experience: Commercial Bachelor's or Master's degree. Minimum of 3 years of leveling up in Sales, preferably in the realm of consumer goods. Experience in preparing commercial account plans. Sharp analytical skills with a knack for turning data into gameplay strategies and policy accordingly. A good sense of humour. Fluent in Dutch and English. Strong communication skills are a must for championing dialogues with customers and internal stakeholders. Player Character Sheet - Traits and Talents: Exceptional communication and presentation skills to narrate our story effectively. A team player who enjoys forging strong alliances, collaboration, and balances hard work with a spirit of fun and play. Flexibility to adapt to the ever-evolving game of account management Hands-on, grounded, and ready to navigate complex situations with efficiency and ease. Eager to search for opportunities to convert these into commercial results.
