Global OMP Test/Training/Deployment Manager

We are seeking an experienced Central Test/Training/Deployment Manager to facilitate the rollout of the OMP Unison Planning solution template to the regions. This pivotal role requires expertise in managing large-scale transformation projects, with a specific focus on testing, training, and deployment.

The ideal candidate should have experience with Agile/Scrum Project management methods & JIRA as an application and possesses an understanding of supply chain planning applications.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management: Together with the IRIS core project team and regional Deployment leads, manage the APO to OMP transformation project during the configuration & rollout phase of the project, ensuring minimal disruption to operations;

Testing: Oversee all stages of testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing. Ensure that testing aligns with the Sprint Plan and Agile practices. Ensure test scripts follow-up and testing is executed in a timely and accuracy manner;

Training: Together with OMP and E&Y, design and coordinate training programs to educate future users and stakeholders on the new Supply Chain Planning processes and OMP system usage;

Gather feedback and ensure that all users are proficient and comfortable with the new processes and tools;

Deployment: Coordinate and manage the deployment of the OMP system across the organization. Ensure that the transition from APO to OMP is smooth and efficient. Align deployment activities with Sprint cycles to ensure timely and organized rollouts. Prepare & implement deployment and cut-over plans in collaboration with the regional deployment leads and local key users.

JIRA Management: Utilize JIRA to track project progress, manage tasks, and resolve issues. Ensure that all project activities are documented and monitored through JIRA. Leverage JIRA dashboards and reports to provide transparency and insights into the testing status & issue resolution

Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all business and IT stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or questions related to the testing, training and deployment of the transformation project. Work in close collaboration with the Functional & Communication stream leads. Facilitate communication between various teams to ensure alignment and collaboration. Conduct regular Scrum meetings to keep stakeholders informed and engaged;

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the successful completion of the project, focussing on user engagement, deployment and cut-over. Conduct regular risk assessments and adjust project plans based on Agile feedback loops.

Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve testing, training, and deployment processes to enhance project outcomes and efficiency. Use Agile retrospectives to gather insights and implement improvements.

- Proven experience in IT project management (including Agile/Scrum/Safe methodologies) and tooling (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.);

- Has worked on more than one Test Management Application (Practitest, HP ALM etc);

- Strong background in Supply Chain processes and systems;

- Excellent communication skills;

- Perseverance & result oriented;

- Enjoys working in an international & cross functional environment.
