We hebben een vacature van Layout Engineer voor een Warehousing Solutions Project Engineering Department bij Vanderlande Industries B.V. in Veghel.
Deze afdeling houdt toezicht op de wereldwijde uitvoering van projecten die mechanische, elektrische en besturingssoftwarecomponenten integreren in geavanceerde material handling systemen. In nauwe samenwerking met een projectleider en een multidisciplinair team van engineers, zal de Layout Engineer bijdragen aan het ontwerpen en leveren van uitzonderlijke oplossingen voor hun klanten.

Verantwoordelijkheden van de Layout Engineer:

- Deelnemen aan systeemontwerp om optimale lay-outs en functionaliteit te garanderen.
- 3D-ontwerpen maken en voltooien van de eerste schetsen tot de uiteindelijke goedkeuring van de klant.
- Ontwerpen detailleren om specificaties voor mechanische apparatuur voor te bereiden en vrij te geven.
- Revisies van 3D-modellen beheren om nauwkeurigheid en consistentie te garanderen.
- BIM-interfaces (Building Information Modeling) coördineren voor naadloze integratie.
- Samenwerken met engineers en andere professionals om effectieve oplossingen te ontwikkelen en implementeren.
- Zorgen dat alle projecten op tijd, binnen budget en conform de vereiste normen worden afgerond.
- Technische problemen oplossen en oplossen zodra ze zich voordoen
- Zorgen voor naleving van relevante regelgeving, codes en normen gedurende de gehele levenscyclus van het project.

Over het team
De afdeling Solution Engineering is verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen van winnende commerciële voorstellen in nauwe samenwerking met de afdeling Sales Management tijdens de verkoopfase. Zodra een project is toegekend, werkt het team aan het succesvol implementeren van de ontworpen oplossingen in samenwerking met de afdeling Project Execution.
Door een breed scala aan expertise binnen één team te huisvesten, zorgt de afdeling Solution Engineering voor een naadloze samenwerking en elimineert kritieke interfaces tussen afdelingen. Deze geïntegreerde aanpak stelt de Layout Engineer in staat om effectief bij te dragen aan zowel de ontwerp- als de uitvoeringsfase, wat zorgt voor een totale oplossing voor onze klanten.

- Afgeronde beroepsopleiding (MTS/MBO-4) met relevante werkervaring, of Bachelordiploma (HTS/HBO) in werktuigbouwkunde (must have)

- Vaardigheid in mechanische ontwerptools zoals AutoCAD (must have) en REVIT.

- Bereidheid om internationaal te reizen, tot 10%.
