What you will be doing

- Assist the engineering team in the design and implementation of power distribution systems, including switchgear, transformers, and monitoring systems.
- Support other Engineers in ensuring that all designs meet customer requirements and relevant standards.
- Collaborate with Interface- and System engineers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Serve as a point of contact for technical inquiries, coordinating between design teams and stakeholders.
- Participate in site visits and factory meetings to gain practical insights and support project supervision.

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Technology / Electronics or relevant to that

- 4+ years of experience in substation design or with substation equipment (e.g., transformers, switchgear, relays, etc.).

- Practical and theoretical experience with low and medium voltage distributors, transformers, short-circuit and selectivity calculations and standards such as IEC 61439

- Strong communication skills (English and Dutch is a plus)

- Flexible and willing to travel on a regular basis for short business trips

You will be seconded for one year via Yacht, with the possibility of being considered for a permanent position at Siemens after this year
