Welcome to Leonardo Hotels Benelux With 4 hotel brands and 7 restaurant concepts in our portfolio we are seeking a passionate intern who can help us manage all these different brands. You will play a vital role in guarding, promoting and maintaining our hotels’ and restaurants’ brand image, ensuring consistency and excellence in all brand-related initiatives. This means that you will work across various projects and be the contact person for different departments, hotels and restaurants in order to make sure that all marketing- and communication collateral fits our brand identity.

You'll report to the Brand & PR Manager and work closely with our amazing marketing team. If you love balancing workflow and creativity, and can turn business needs into exciting creative outputs, we’d love to hear from you

ABOUT THE JOB:
  • Responsible for the continuous update of our brand portal, brand presentations and other brand materials and ensure to keep these are updated in line with the most recent developments.
  • Approve and prioritize design(requests) from the different hotels, restaurants and departments and make sure that designs match our brand identity.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all communication channels, including websites, social media platforms, print materials, and advertising campaigns.
  • Create briefings for external design agencies and make sure initiatives are within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content that effectively communicates the hotel's unique value proposition and brand story.
  • Develop engaging copy for all brands. Copy should effectively capture the attention of the target audience and align with brand voice.
  • Generate original ideas and concepts to drive brand storytelling and develop captivating narratives that leave a lasting impression.
  • Create basic brand marketing material without external support.

WHAT MAKES YOU THE PERFECT CREATIVE BRANDING INTERN?
  • You're currently doing your studies in Marketing/Communications and are looking for an internship from the 1st of September or even sooner is also an option.
  • Strong knowledge of branding principles and marketing strategies.
  • You have an affinity for hospitality and lifestyle.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate brand messages clearly and effectively.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside of the box and develop innovative branding solutions.
  • Keen eye to detail and passion for aesthetics and creative work are a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design to complete smaller projects (Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative, enthusiastic team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

SUPPORT OFFICE A young, fresh, stubborn hotel company, that takes a slightly different approach. That is Leonardo Hotels. We operate in the Benelux with 16 hotels. The employees of our Support Office work for all these hotels and perform tasks related to their department. The departments Sales, Human Resources, Revenue, Marketing and Finance are centralized and work together for the hotels in the Benelux. A permanent workplace? Not for us We regularly visit the hotels and occasionally work at the offices located at Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam Rembrandtpark. Every day is different and that makes our work fun and challenging

GET TO KNOW THE TAILOR MADE TRAINEESHIP PROGRAM For the ambitious hotelier of the future is the Tailor Made Traineeship (TMT) at Leonardo Hotels the place to be Do you see your internship as the start of a career within the hospitality? WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU (ADDITIONAL TO A GREAT TEAM)?
  • As a HBO student you will receive an internship fee based on €750,- gross per month fulltime, which consists of a €650,- internship fee and an €80,- expense fee. We use variable payment periods of 4 or 5 weeks at a time, according to the number of days and hours worked. So one month you will get a little less and the next month a little more.
