Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Integration Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our integration testing process, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless communication between mobile devices, front-end systems, and backend systems.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases to verify the integration between mobile devices, front-end systems, and backend systems.
  • Utilizing advanced test tools and methodologies to conduct functional, regression, performance, and compatibility testing.
  • Collaborating closely with software developers, system architects, and product owners to understand system requirements and design test strategies accordingly.
  • Designing and implementing test automation frameworks to streamline integration testing processes and improve efficiency.
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects and working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Enhancing testing processes and methodologies to achieve higher levels of quality assurance.
  • Staying updated with industry trends and advancements in testing technologies to provide valuable insights and recommendations for improving integration testing practices.

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess:

  • A university degree (MSc) or applied university/college (HBO/BSc) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Test Engineer, specifically in integration testing of mobile applications, front-end systems, and backend systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of test tools and frameworks, such as Robolectric, Espresso, Testcafe, REST Assured, or equivalent.
  • Strong programming skills in languages like Swift (iOS), Kotlin (Android), Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and experience with test automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with mobile platforms (Android and iOS) and understanding of backend system architectures.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Certified Tester Foundation Level Agile Tester (CTFL-AT) or equivalent is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.

Location: Enschede, the Netherlands. You are expected to work at least 2 days a week at the office.

Salary: €75,000 - €90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus result-dependent bonuses and benefits.
