Job Opportunity: Research Assistant or Research Coordinator
About the Role:
The School of Public Health at HKU is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to fill the positions of Research Assistant or Research Coordinator. As a member of our research team, you will have the opportunity to engage in various tasks related to genetic epidemiology, including data analysis and literature review.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in data analysis and literature review for research projects
- Conduct statistical analysis on large and complex datasets
- Develop and maintain databases and spreadsheets
- Assist with administrative tasks within the research team
- Collaborate with researchers and other team members to achieve project goals
Requirements:
- Current undergraduate or postgraduate students for Research Assistant position
- Bachelor's degree or above for Research Coordinator position, preferably in public health, biostatistics, epidemiology, bioinformatics, or other related disciplines
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Logical, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with ability to work independently in a team
